Holy Week Services

Maundy Thursday                                                                            Thursday, March 28

This year’s Maundy Thursday Service will be held in the Worship Center beginning at 7:30 PM. We will explore the events of the Upper Room in a liturgical form during which Holy Communion will be celebrated.

Good Friday Meditations                                                                       Friday,  March 29

During the traditional three hours of the Crucifixion, noon until three, the Worship Center of Lutheran Ministry in Christ is a center for personal meditation on the Cross. Pastor Keith will be available for prayer and words of absolution.

Good Friday Evening Service                                                              Friday,  March 29

Good Friday’s evening service (7:30 PM) will focus on the Cross of Christ. Sparse music, scripture, and prayer will help us examine our own life as we prepare to celebrate Easter, Christ’s Resurrection. The service ends in silence.

Easter Vigil                                                                                       Saturday,  March 30

The Easter Vigil, to be held on the Saturday night before Easter, at our regular worship hour (5:30 PM), will be the first Service of our Easter Celebrations. The Easter Vigil follows a more formal liturgical format and features four traditional themes:  Light, Word, Baptism, Eucharist. 

Outdoor Sunrise Service                                                                    Sunday,  March 31

Weather permitting, chairs will be set up outside so participants will be able to experience the glory of the sunrise as we celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Join us at 6:30 AM for as we sing a mixture of traditional and contemporary songs that proclaim God’s wonderful plan for Redemption. Refreshments & fellowship will be shared following Worship.

Blended & Contemporary Easter Services                                        Sunday,  March 31

LMIC will also present Easter Worship at our regular Service times where you can Celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord in the style of your choice: “blended” at 8:30 AM and “contemporary” at 11:00 AM.  “Alleluia!  Christ is Risen!  He is Risen indeed!”

Easter Breakfast                                                                               Sunday, March 31

Join us for breakfast from 9:45-10:45 AM. Tickets are $4 per person ($16 max. per family) and are available following Sunday morning Worship, in the ECM Office during the week, and at the door the day of the event.
